Troop 3 Alumni

Many thanks to the Alumni, who have taken the time, to provide us with a look back into Troop 3's Past!

Tom Casey writes to us on Sun 8/6/2006:

Here’s something for the archives. I recently went to a reunion at Resica of the 1958 Great Bend Staff. 1958 was the 1styear that camp was open and the 2nd year for Resica. Charlie Zimmerman also attended the reunion. In addition to Charlie and me, Bill Kay Jr. also was on that staff. In digging around the camp headquarters, we found some pictures that might be of interest. Interestingly, the 1958 picture includes future Staff Members Fred Ewald and Bob Kay ( top row left) and Russ Casey (front row 3rd from left) and a rookie (2nd row 4th from right ) who appears to be Bob John.

Don't know if you have a copy of these for your files but Tom Casey and I were at Resica this past weekend for a staff reunion of the Great Bend Staff from 1958-1962, we were asked to help identify pictures from the early days at Resica. These two jumped out at us.
